Ancient stairway in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Madhavadhara stairway is one of the many stairways leading to Simhachalam, a temple on the verge of extinction. Many inscriptions could be seen through the path that date as far back as 1098 AD. Not many people realize that there is a walkway uphill. Some who did had to revert because of the dilapitated stairs. I believe the Temple Board should realize the necessity to preserve this treasure.
